2007 VSA BANQUET

The 2008 Board is dilegently working hard for the organization.  There will be alot of organizing to coordinate the 2008 season of shows, auctions, exhibits and any other business that come their way.  More to come - keep reading .......


At the General Membership meeting an amendment to the Beginner Division was voted and passed.   The Beginner Division will now read "Beginners are allowed to ride 2 handed (a rein in each hand) with a snaffle bit with any aged horse.  Any horse ridden with a leveraged bit must be ridden with the 2 reins in one hand."

Please remember all board meetings are open to the general membership.  Dates of future board meetings will be posted.
February Board Meeting

The Board met Feb. 24th and began planning the 2008 year.  The VSA sponsored shows were discussed and it was decided to scale down to only offering 2 shows and to affiliate those 2 shows with VHSA (Vermont Horse Show Association).  Most of the classes that were offered in the past will be the same with 12 added classes to fit in for the VHSA competitors.   The new rules and guidelines for affiliating with VHSA will be explained in the Omnibus.

 

Please print and mail in your VSA application to make sure you get your Omnibus for all the valuable information on this seasons shows and guidelines.
